MC.S. Student at The University of Tehran
Hi, I'm Tara Sabkar,
a Computer Science master's student at the University of Tehran. I am currently working on my thesis in "Multimodal Emotion Recognition based on Audio and Video Modalities" and a paper related to it.
With a keen eye on the horizon, I'm excited to embark on a Ph.D. journey in fall 2024, where I aim to contribute to the evolution of technology that enhances human-computer interactions and improves overall well-being. My ultimate goal is to add meaningful value to the world, creating a future where people can lead better lives.
My Research Interests
I'm passionate about the fascinating world of multimodal emotion recognition, where I explore how various sensory inputs harmonize and the fusion strategies that underlie them. My curiosity extends to deciphering the intricate workings of the human brain in processing this data, providing invaluable insights into human behavior. My research journey is driven by a strong desire to develop interpretable models, inspired by the nuances of human behavior. I aspire to bridge the realms of cognitive science and computer science in my future endeavors. My overarching goal is to contribute to the evolution of affective computing, paving the way for innovative solutions that elevate human-computer interactions and overall well-being.
My Hobbies
I really enjoy reading books, especially ones about self-help, management, how the mind works, and cognitive science. When I'm not reading, I love listening to music and watching movies. I'm also a big fan of traveling and camping. I do calisthenics and bouldering as a workout. But my true passion is being outdoors, hiking, watching wildlife, camping, and exploring the beauty of nature.
